PART 1:

_{The bus was going at a steady pace as the student council member announced they will be arriving in 10 minutes through the microphone. The voice was incongruent to the other noises and slotted itself through his dreamscape, jarring him to drowsily blinking into the dim light.

He was disoriented for a moment as he yawned into his head, lifting his head from her shoulder and massaged his stiff neck, wincing slightly. His eyes darted over to Hiromi who was somehow wearing his headphones.

The next melody made her laugh quietly, her right hand creeping to her face to partly cover her mouth with a few fingers. She didn’t know why, but the music painted comical imagery in her head. Her pointer slowly curled over her lip while the music went on, its foreign jive with the percussion in the background just…silly to her. And her shoulder, she could…move it, suddenly? The weight wasn’t there anymore for some reason. Still immersed in the music, she turned her head to see what had happened to the culprit responsible for the burden on her shoulder—

Hiromi quickly pulled the headphones off and slipped them over Asahara’s head, the left earpiece now over his right ear while the other earpiece went over his left. Her fingers shied away as she set them on her lap, turning her face forward with a slight embarrassed flush.
